Senior DevOps engineer with Python - Tietoevry Tech Services

HCI provides the physical and virtualization layer (e.g., using Hyper-V and Storage Spaces Direct). The DevOps engineer/architect will be responsible for 
Azure Stack Hub, which runs on top of this layer and enables Azure services to be run locally (e.g., VM, App Services, Kubernetes, etc.).

As our senior DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Terraform: writing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for deploying and managing resources in Azure Stack Hub.
• Automating provisioning processes (virtual machines, networks, storage, etc.).
• Creating modular and reusable Terraform modules.
• Integration and scripting in Python – scripts for resource management, monitoring, integration with APIs (e.g., Azure REST API).
• Automation of tasks not covered by Terraform (e.g., post-deployment configuration, custom logic).

Required Skills & Experience :

• Background in DevOps engineering/architecture within hybrid cloud and virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V, Storage Spaces Direct).

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform – writing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code templates, creating modular and reusable modules.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Stack Hub and its services (VMs, App Services, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Automation of provisioning processes (virtual machines, networks, storage).

• Experience with Python scripting for resource management, monitoring, and API integration (e.g., Azure REST API).

• Ability to automate tasks beyond Terraform (e.g., post-deployment configuration, custom logic).

• Experience with CI/CD tools

• Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.

• Active English knowledge
