Tietoevry Tech Services Latvia is looking for a Group Financial Controller to strengthen our finance team.

With us you will be responsible for:

  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting according to IFRS based on responsibility area
  • Tax reporting (IAS 12) for the Group on quarterly basis, together with the Group tax team
  • Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements
  • Supporting the business in practical IFRS questions and accounting matters
  • Participation in other various development projects, including group reporting tools (e.g. HFM and Workiva)
  • Preparation of financial, annual, and operational reports as well as other necessary management and regulatory documentation
  • Participate in annual audit and pre-audit activities
  • Performing and organizing full accounting process according to accounting standards and group policies
  • Prepare legal allocation transactions according to tax and accounting standards

We expect you to have:

  • 3+ years of work experience in financial accounting (IFRS) and group consolidation
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or other related area and a recognized accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA)
  • Understanding of group consolidation, tax reporting and ability to interpret and apply IFRS in various real-life cases
  • Fluent spoken and written English (for working with foreign clients and colleagues)
  • Solid IT skills​, knowledge of HFM and Workiva will be considered as an advantage

  • Responsible personality that is able to take initiative and ownership
  • Willingness and interest in tackling complex issues, positive mindset towards challenges
  • Very good cooperation skills as in this role you will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders e.g. finance operations teams in different countries, external advisors, auditors
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines

Monthly salary offer will be defined based up on the candidate’s professional competence compliance with job demands.
