Tietoevry Tech Services Latvia is looking for a Group Accounting & IFRS Lead to strengthen our finance team.

With us you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reports
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS in all reporting and disclosures
• Review and interpret new IFRS standards and assess their impact
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and notes for group audit
• Maintain, update, and implement group accounting policies and reporting manuals
• Provide IFRS guidance and training to finance teams across the group
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls over financial reporting
• Tax reporting (IAS 12) for the Group on quarterly basis, together with the Group tax team
• Participation in other various development projects, including group reporting tools (e.g. HFM and Workiva)

We expect you to have:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related area field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA / CA
• 5+ years of work experience in financial accounting under IFRS and group consolidation
• Hands - on experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements and group tax reporting
• Fluent spoken and written English (for working with foreign colleagues)
• Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with enterprise reporting systems

• Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts for other stakeholders
• Proactive mindset, able to anticipate issues and drive solutions
